‘Aylesbury Nightstop kept me out of the cold. I was thinking, “Where am I going to stay?”.
I found staff helpful and friendly and they found me a place with a volunteer host. I was feeling nervous when I turned up at the hosts house as it was new but she made me feel welcome and part of the household. I really don’t know what would have happened if I hadn’t had Nightstop. I had help from the staff to talk to the Council to persuade them I was priority because of my mental health problems and a week later I have got my own little flat. I feel so much better now I have my own place.
It will help a lot and help me and my Mum get on better. I’ll still need a bit of help over the next few months, managing my money, not letting mates stay over and keeping on with my college work.
I think it’s excellent everything that Nightstop did to help me.’
